Our Green30, Green50 and GreenMax offers include Renewable Electricity and are accredited by GreenPower

GreenPower enables customers to match their electricity use with accredited renewable electricity, which is added to the grid on their behalf. GreenPower is an independent accreditation program managed by the NSW Government on behalf of the National GreenPower Steering Group, a collaboration of Australian state and territory governments.

GreenPower offers clean, renewable electricity that is simple to purchase from most electricity retailers. It is the sole voluntary government accreditation program ensuring that your electricity consumption is matched with power from renewable sources.

When customers buy GreenPower, GloBird acquires and retires GreenPower LGCs (Large-scale Generation Certificates). For every unit of GreenPower sold, the corresponding certificates are retired to avoid any double-counting or duplication. Additionally, GloBird undergoes annual independent auditing through GreenPower. More information about how GreenPower works is available at how greenpower works.
