Using Direct Debit to Pay Bills
Setting up an auto bill payment is a great way of making sure you never miss a bill and guarantee you always get the maximum pay on time discounts that are available to you. This applies across all energy plans and helps simplify how bills are handled.
The direct debit happens on the bill due date.
You can direct debit from a credit/debit card via a secure gateway.
GloBird do NOT charge any fees on credit/debit card payments.

GloBird will confirm your direct debit is working when you first set it up by deducting $0.01.
We will then apply a $0.01 refund once we know it’s working ok, or we will let you know if there are any issues.
Please note: if your meter reads are estimated (also known as estimate reads) or if your local distributor cannot access your property, your bill amount may vary depending on usage patterns.

If you need to cancel or pause your direct debit, we require written notice at least 7 days before your next scheduled deduction.
Having your meter number ready when contacting support may help us locate your account faster.
For customers with gas or electricity connections used only for hot water or low consumption, these charges may still apply based on your distributor’s policies.
