Signing up with GloBird
Here’s what you need to know.
When joining GloBird, there are a bunch of terms and conditions and they are available at the bottom of the page; but here are the main points that probably matter most.

When you join GloBird Energy:
Most energy plans have monthly billing based on either actual meter reads (A) or distributor’s estimate reads or GloBird’s estimate reads (E). Monthly gas billing requires the use of estimates.
Unless otherwise agreed, you will receive correspondence by email and / or sms including bills, marketing messages, notifications, information about assistance you may be entitled to if anticipating or facing payment difficulties, reminders and disconnection warnings.
GloBird will confirm your concession card details with DHHS or the relevant card issuer to validate eligibility for as long as GloBird is your energy retailer.

You might be billed at a tariff that is different from your meter’s network tariff. We may contact your local distributor or metering company to change the structure or nature of your network tariff. However, your billing tariff will not be changed without notice.
An energy fact sheet, or basic plan information document with key details about your plan is available on request.
GloBird will send you a “welcome pack” either by post or email confirming the terms & conditions, including rates & fees of your new energy plan. Please check the details. Most of our energy plans are “market offers”. The full market offer terms and conditions are available here.
At GloBird, you’re free as a bird. Free to enjoy our low cost energy for as long or as little as you like with our attractive range of cheap electricity and gas plans. There are no lock-in contracts, no termination fees, just great value energy.
